6 And the chief Priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for us to put them into the [a]treasure, because it is the price [b]of blood.
7 And they took counsel, and bought with them a potter’s field, for the burial of [c]strangers.
8 Wherefore that field is called, (A)The field of blood, until this day.
